EX DECRETO SACROSANCTI CONCILII TRIDENTINI RESTITUTUM SUMMORUM PONTIFICUM CURA RECOGNITUM

Omnis scriba doctus in regno coelorum, similis est homini patrifamilias,
qui profert de thesauro suo nova et vetera. (Mt 13, 52)

Therefore every scribe who has been trained for the kingdom of heaven is like a householder
who brings out of his treasure what is new and what is old. (Mt. 13:52)

Catholic Tradition is so profound and diverse, that even the ancient monastic libraries, with their immense collections, could never include all of it in its entirety. So it seems a paradox, in normal speech, to speak of an antiquarian bookstore and publishing house, specializing in Catholic Theology. We consider this label, not as a limitation, but conferring upon us a distinct commitment and deliberate focus.

We are happy to make available to the new generation the traditional treasure of our Faith. And while doing so, in our Antiquarian Bookstore and Publishing House we will continue to bring out more treasure, both old and new, nova et vetera.

We invite you to look into our listings. You will find items of lasting value, that represent so much more than a modern fad or contemporary culture. We will keep our commitment to continue to make available to you the kinds of books, both new and old, that make nova & vetera a special address for Catholic readers.
